Therapeutic Massage
The goal of therapeutic massage is to target specific areas of tension and soreness. Therapeutic massage typically involves deeper pressure and detailed techniques but, as always, treatments are based on client needs and preference. While therapeutic massage can also be relaxing, the focus is releasing muscles. Therapeutic massage is often the choice for treating soft tissue injury and for other types of rehabilitation and healing. Like any other type of massage, it can improve joint mobility, improve circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and reduce stress hormones.

Swedish/Relaxation Massage
The goal of a Swedish massage is relaxation. Swedish massage typically involves lighter pressure and longer, slower strokes. Swedish massage can still work at releasing tension, but focuses on a whole body approach rather than targeting specific muscles/trigger points. Like any other type of massage, it can improve joint mobility, improve circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and reduce stress hormones.

Pre-Natal Massage
The goal of pre-natal massage is to ease discomfort that may be felt during pregnancy. Pre-natal massage uses light pressure and modified techniques to safely treat and relax the body. During the treatment, clients will be side-lying with bolsters and pillows to be extra cozy and secure. Benefits of pre-natal massage include improved sleep quality, reduced stress hormones (for mom and baby), reduced swelling, reduced muscle pain and cramps and improved circulation.

Cupping
Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a vacuum effect on the skin using cups that pull up underlying tissues such as the fascia (connective tissue), muscles, blood and other fluid close to the surface of the skin. Through a combination of static (left in place) and movement (dragging), cupping aims to increase circulation and lymph flow and pull apart adhesions (tension) in the fascia which are often the cause of deep muscle tension. .

Hot Stone Massage
The goal of a hot stone massage is relaxation and gentle release of tension. During the treatment, heated stones are placed on the body as well as used to massage areas of tension. The heat from the stones penetrates through the skin and into the muscles causing them to relax. Like any other type of massage, it can improve joint mobility, improve circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and reduce stress hormones.
